CRANIOSACRAL THERAPY

Hands-on The Skull

I will help you “re-frame” your wellness and provide you with valuable cares to cope with life’s obstacles.

In my therapy sessions, I mainly use Craniosacral Techniques in patients who claim symptoms regarding headache, cervical and spinal pain, TMJ dysfunctions. For those affected by the debilitating effects of stress, insomnia, vertigo, tinnitus, sciatica and neuralgias, CST is a valid solution to obtain relief.

The approach is based on getting a feeling of the cranial rhythm, a low-frequency oscillation caused by an intracranial fluid: the cerebrospinal fluid.

The gentle and soft touch used during a session, often between 1 and 5 grams (about the weight of a nickel), makes it safe both for elderly and children or infants.

I’m confident you’ll find my skills beneficial and inspirational.

Feel free to give it a try.

VISCERAL MANIPULATION

Why Is Marta Touching My Belly?

Tired to cure chronic disorders, gastro-intestinal diseases, menstruation pain, post-operation issues with drugs or surgery?

Then you’ve come to the right place!

I've had a specialized training on Visceral Manipulation.

Surgical scars and adhesions, infection and illness or common gastro-intestinal chronic diseases are some of the biggest reasons why inflammation is activated in the tissues.

When existing, inflammatory spots become abnormal points of tension around which the body must move.

The result? Functional and structural symptoms such as pain, dysfunctions and poor posture.

MYOFASCIAL RELEASE

A Sliding Tissue

Feeling nodes under your skin and pain while repeating certain movements? It might be time to seek help!

My sessions focused on Myofascial Release help patients to free their body from muscle soreness and fatigue.

Fascia is a connective tissue that envelopes the muscles and organs, an entity that separates and connects the components of the body.

It's deeply connected the nervous system, the same that activates inflammatory response after a trauma and generates the well known trigger points - Yes, your touching that little spot between your shoulder blades, don't you? It might be the result of an inflammatory response caused by fascial restriction.

My approach is light, effective and specific.

Mostly followed by direct and indirect structural techniques.
